Meet Our Team

A-Shift

  • I have been with Rock Creek Fire District since 2002. It has been my privilege to serve as the District’s Maintenance Supervisor, Shift Captain, and our local union’s Secretary/Treasurer. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Service Administration and I am certified through Fire Officer 4. When I am off-duty, it is not unusual to find me hunting, fishing, or renovating the home I share with my partner, Rachel and our children.

B-SHIFT

  • I joined the Rock Creek Fire District as a volunteer in 1996. I began full-time employment for RCFD in 2011 as a Shift Captain. I am certified through Fire Officer 4. In my off time, I enjoy my Camaro and taking care of my home.

  • Hi, I’m Lt. Taylor Hunsaker. Full-time fire lieutenant. Part-time beach walker. Full-time Crocs enthusiast.

    On my days off, you can catch me taking long, meaningful walks on the beach in my tactical Crocs (sport mode engaged because safety never takes a day off). I enjoy romantic sunsets, the smell of fresh bunker gear, and reminding people I could still pull ceiling if I wanted to. I like candlelit dinners (preferably cooked at the station), critiquing other people’s parking jobs, and answering my phone with, “What’s on fire now?”

    Now if you’ll excuse me, I have Crocs to polish and a sunset to chase.
